Katie Woehrle, LMBT
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
For deeper or specific therapeutic work – Katie Woehrle does fabulous work and enjoys focusing on specific areas which need extra attention. Katie has regular clients who have moved away and still come to see her when they are in town. She uses a primarily Swedish style that incorporates Eastern techniques and energy flow to help the body release more permanently. Katie maintains a quiet and calming environment during her sessions, and she welcomes feedback and questions from clients.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and worked for the Department of Corrections for several years before moving to the Madison area in 2008. Katie is part-time at Renu – you can find her available evenings and weekends.
After deciding a career change was in order, she began to pursue her interest in massage therapy. Her deep respect for public servants and her passion to create a healing environment for men and women who serve others in any capacity drives her current practice in massage and bodywork. Katie’s special interests include cupping therapy as well as a combination of Eastern and Western techniques to bring healing and relaxation to the body. Katie loves focusing on problem areas to provide immediate relief.
Katie provides a safe, professional, and healing environment for those seeking therapeutic massage, treating not only physical symptoms of distress, but also in treating the underlying issue to prevent the symptoms from recurring. In her spare time, she enjoys running, watching sports (especially the Badgers, Packers, or Brewers), or playing volleyball.
